GETTING HERE

BY AIR

AirNorth flies between Dawson City and Whitehorse and from Whitehorse to outside destinations across Canada. Connections to other airlines are available at the Whitehorse airport for additional destinations.

TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM THE AIRPORT

The Dawson City airport is a 25 minute car ride from town. Most hotels in Dawson offer shuttle service to and from the airport. There is limited taxi service available in summer months until September: call 867-730-1111.

BY BUS

Klondike Experience offers bus service between Dawson and Whitehorse and to and from the Dawson airport until the end of September.

BY CAR

Dawson City is located 550kms north of Whitehorse along the Klondike #2 Highway (about a 6-hour drive, dependent on the season and road conditions) or seasonally from Alaska through the scenic Top of the World Highway #9. Gas and cell service is limited between Whitehorse and Dawson City. Up-to-date road conditions are available through Yukon511.
