STEP ONE: APPLY TO YUKONU ONLINE
SOVA students are required to apply through Yukon University’s online portal:
Instructions
Page 1 –Create any Personal Identification Number (PIN). It must be 6 digits, can be anything you want, and will allow you access to the application system.
Page 2 –You will have an application ID number created. It will start with G. Write this number down. It will be the number that you use to access the system if you stop at any point to finish later.
Page 3 –Choose your Application Type: select option 3 - Certificate, Diploma & Degree Programs from the drop down menu.
**IMPORTANT! ENSURE YOU CHOOSE OPTION 3, not OPTION 1**
Page 4 –Select the term that you plan to begin your studies, and enter your name.
Page 5 –This is a checklist of all pages that must be completed for your application. For “First Program Choice” select SOVA- Visual Arts Certificate from the menu.
The application includes a non-refundable application fee of $30.
STEP TWO: SUBMIT TRANSCRIPTS
Have your official transcripts emailed or mailed directly from the issuing institution to Yukon University’s Admissions Office.
Applications without official transcripts cannot be processed.
Transcripts sent to any email other than admissions@yukonu.ca will not be accepted.
Transcripts submitted by students will not be accepted.

Canadian applicants, please provide proof of your previous education in one of the following ways:
High school GRADUATES
Have your high school send an official copy of your transcript to YukonU Admissions
Note: please be aware of all application deadlines and apply early, even though you may not yet have completed the required courses.
Grade 12 students
Have your high school send a current copy of your transcript and your most recent report card to YukonU Admissions
Arrange to have your high school send a final transcript to YukonU Admissions when it becomes available
Mature students
(19 years of age or older or 17 years of age and out of school at least one full academic year)
Have your high school or university transcripts sent to YukonU Admissions by the issuing institution
You may also be required to write University Assessments
STEP THREE: SUBMIT PORTFOLIO

HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR PORTFOLIO
Digital submission:
We no longer accept mailed portfolio submissions. Digital portfolios should be sent via Dropbox, WeTransfer, or other file-sharing service link to info@yukonsova.ca. If using Google Drive, please grant permissions and send the link to sovadawson@gmail.com.
Your portfolio must be submitted by the deadline along with all supporting materials.
