BLOCK TRANSFER oF YSOVA CREDITS
TO PARTNER SCHOOLS

YSOVA graduates who are interested in pursuing BFA degrees may qualify for the block transfer of their Foundation Year credits to schools who we have articulation agreements in place with. This means that graduates may transfer from YSOVA directly into the second year of BFA degree programs at selected partner schools.

In order to qualify for block credit transfers, students must have completed all ten courses in the Foundation Year Program, with good grades and in some cases, a strong portfolio. Applications to our partner schools are still required, and each school has specific requirements for transfer students.

YSOVA faculty run a workshop late in semester one to assist our students with their transfer applications.

YSOVA has direct articulation agreements for block credit transfers with :

SOVA graduates are also eligible for block credit transfers, via general articulation agreements arranged by Yukon University, with :

Students should be aware that they will be required to provide partner schools with official transfer documents. For more information about block credit transfer procedures, please consult the Office of the Registrar.

YSOVA graduates who wish to attend a university or college that does not have an articulation agreement with YSOVA should contact the Admissions Office at the school they wish to attend regarding the possible transfer of YSOVA credits. YSOVA credits are only transferred at the discretion of the school. The school is welcome to contact us at info@yukonsova.ca to for more information on our courses to assess the credit transfer.
